The Santa Clotilde Gardens, on the Costa Brava, were designed by the architect and landscape designer Rubió i Tudurí and are considered one of the best-preserved examples of Noucentista gardens in Catalonia.
The new open-air theater is integrated into the historic villa’s landscape project, both in formal terms—respecting its Italian-inspired design and its direct relationship with the coastline and the sea—and in material terms, using sablón sand as an omnipresent building element in seating tiers, pavements, and renders

The theatre is naturally inscribed in the landscape
Following the values of the Noucentista movement associated with order, simplicity, and clarity, the proposal for the scenic space of the gardens is naturally inscribed in the landscape, offering a unique space where culture, history, and nature meet.
The theatre has completed a much-needed offer for the celebration of events in a space that receives more than 130,000 visits per year.
