A link between landscape, culture and tradition

In the renowned Catalan wine region of Priorat, within the Montsant Natural Park, lies the small Terra Dominicata Hotel & Winery.

The landscape design for the outdoor spaces was carried out with maximum respect and a desire for continuity with the surrounding environment, local architecture, and the customs of nearby villages. The materials, colors, vegetation, textures, and construction techniques used are rooted in the site and its historical and cultural heritage.

    Through values such as simplicity, balance and empathy, the landscaping intervention at Terra Dominicata offers its users an emotional experience of relationship with the natural environment, wine culture and local tradition.

    The recovery of the landscape heritage has driven the Terra Dominicata project to become a benchmark in the territory for its communicative, environmental, economic and cultural values.
