At the entrance to the Cementos Molins industrial site in Sant Vicenç dels Horts, a garden has been created for workers to rest and to welcome clients and visitors.
The intervention transforms a functional, industrial-scale environment into a comfortable, accessible corporate garden in harmony with the existing architecture and facilities. A sequence of green spaces, shaded areas, rest zones, and paths is articulated to favor interaction, rest, and shared identity.
Brand value and worker well-being
The proposal incorporates a new vehicle access control building, constructed using a replica of the prefabricated modules used in the original facade of the corporate headquarters building.
This new outdoor space has helped the company reinforce brand values, improve user well-being, and enhance the cohesion of the work environment. An example of how design can humanize industrial spaces without losing functionality or character.
