Integrated and integrating urban sports parks

In most cities, skateparks are still being built on the outskirts to avoid potential conflicts with other users of public space. The integration of these spaces into their surroundings is usually non-existent, typically appearing as an isolated set of strange deposited artifacts that ignore any interaction with the surrounding social and urban landscape.
